This veil is a traditional Spanish-style mantilla veil that is made out of delicate Guipure overall flower lace. It is designed to be draped over the head, typically resting 2-3 inches back from the hairline, framing the face with a scalloped edge that falls over the shoulders. It is set on a wide comb at the top of the head and can be secured with pins around the face.

Unlike traditional veils, this veil is ungathered, allowing it to lay flat on the head and cling softly to the shoulders. It features a continuous lace border Guipure.

Originally a religious chapel veil with deep Spanish roots dating back to the 17th century, it has evolved into a popular, romantic wedding option for all cultures. It works well with hair worn up or down, though a high bun may clash with the traditional placement.
