The NK Bride team has partnered with the talented Vennissa Scarlett-Bassey, an event designer and wedding planner from Scarlett Expressions, to create a classic wedding in the park. This afternoon filled with florals and pale blues was captured by amazing photographer, Rebecca Lori. This team of professionals made bridal dreams come true, decorating with elegant white roses and gold accents, and capturing a loving, and light-hearted energy with each photo. There was no better location for this shoot then at the charming Branch Brook Park in Newark, New Jersey where the trees were in full bloom.
The table decor is a perfect match for this garden party. Vennissa achieved a timeless beauty in the decor by choosing weightless shades of blue and gold that almost seem to float above the ground. The soft, blue linens, provided by Beyond Linen Rentals, are draped to wave in the wind adding to the effortless beauty of these photos. The chairs, from Glam Party Rentals, were wrapped in free flying linens giving a flowing look to the set-up. The natural tones and styles make the table compliment the consistent beauty of the garden surrounding.
Decorating the tables was done exquisitely with the skilled eye of planner Vennissa. By keeping the color palette simple, and incorporating gold accents, Vennissa achieved an unmatched elegance. The free environment lends itself to use in many modern weddings, as the vibe it creates is welcoming. The floral centerpieces, also by Scarlett Expressions, were crisp and white, giving a purity to the table. Traditional place settings were offset by the unique, modern transparency of the menus, created by Tamara Smith from Chanson Creative. Tamara also provided stationary that stayed true to the soft sophistication of the clean whites and blues.
The bride, our Model Bibi Bredy, looked relaxed and radiant in our gown. This NK Bride original shows us that a timeless bride doesn’t have to wear white. The delicate pink gown featured pearls and pleats that flowed out into feathery edges. The bottom of the dress blew smoothly in the wind, and the ankle length was a perfect fit for this free spirited garden. Bibi’s natural beauty was only elevated by hairstylist Season Shider, from Seasoned Beauty, and makeup artist Patrice Powell, from Make Up n’ Music. The perfectly matched shoe, by Nina, was a spectacular touch, and the whole look was finished by a chic bouquet from Scarlett Expressions.
